The Kevser Ehlibeyt Mosque, concurrent with the days of Muharram mourning, hosted a spiritual and emotionally charged ceremony. The program began with the Maghrib prayer, the recitation of Ziyarat Ashura, and the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and the mourners shed tears of grief in remembrance of the tragedies of the martyrs of Karbala.

The main speaker of the ceremony, Sheikh Musa Aydın, the chairman of the board of On4 TV, in his remarks elaborated on the status and content of Ziyarat Ashura and stated that this pilgrimage is not merely a text for commemorating the Karbala event, but rather a firm and conscious covenant with Imam Husayn (a.s.) and his loyal companions.

Aydın, referring to the salutations expressed in Ziyarat Ashura addressed to Imam Husayn (a.s.), stated, “Greeting Imam Husayn (a.s.) in fact means that from our side, no harm will ever befall his path, his goal, and his ideals. This greeting is a declaration of loyalty and submission to that divine path for our entire lives.”

He also emphasized that in Ziyarat Ashura, the curses and disavowals are not only directed at those who directly committed oppression, but also include those who, through their silence, supported oppression or provided the grounds for its occurrence.

In the concluding part of the ceremony, the eulogist of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) recited elegies, and the participants expressed their devotion and mourning for the martyrs of Karbala through chest-beating.
