The Imam Husayn (a.s.) Cultural Center, affiliated with the Holy Husayni Shrine, in an unprecedented move, held its fourth annual conference in Turkey in the city of Hatay. This ceremony, which was met with a warm reception from religious, cultural, and social figures and a gathering of the devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in Turkey, represents a turning point in the Holy Husayni Shrine’s promotional activities in this country.

*Message of Peace, Coexistence, and Spiritual Support for Earthquake Victims

Al-Hassan Ni’mah al-Khafaji, the technical deputy of the media department at the Holy Husayni Shrine, emphasizing that the movement of Imam Husayn (a.s.) is a project for freedom and justice-seeking, described the presence in Hatay as a response to the necessity of spreading the culture of dialogue and coexistence.

He explained: The Husayni media continues to fulfill its mission in spreading the culture of dialogue and coexistence and conveying the true image of the humanitarian and cultural projects of the Holy Husayni Shrine.

He stated: The selection of Hatay, in addition to its religious significance, carried a message of solidarity and spiritual support for the people of this city following the earthquake disaster.

*Facilitating Pilgrimage and Strengthening Cultural Ties

In this conference, while conveying the greetings of Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalai, the representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani and the religious trustee of the Holy Husayni Shrine, to the people of Hatay, emphasis was placed on the continuation of this shrine’s support programs, including facilitating the conditions for pilgrimage to the holy shrines in Iraq for the devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in Turkey.

Al-Khafaji appreciated the role of the “Aal al-Bayt (a.s.) Foundation” in the success of the conference and the continuation of cooperation for holding cultural and religious activities in various cities of Turkey.

*Expansion of Cultural Cooperation in Turkey

Sabah al-Talaqani, the director of the Imam Husayn (a.s.) Cultural Center in Istanbul, also expressing satisfaction with the quality and widespread reception of this conference, emphasized the continuation of bilateral cooperation with the “Aal al-Bayt (a.s.) Foundation” for holding diverse religious and cultural programs in other cities of Turkey.

This event demonstrates the serious determination of the Holy Husayni Shrine to consolidate its cultural presence in Turkey and deepen the spiritual bonds between the nations of Iran and Iraq with the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in this country.

It is worth noting that Hojat al-Islam Anwar Shan Rahmani, the director of the Aal al-Bayt (a.s.) Foundation of Turkey, also attended this conference.
