Concurrent with the days of Muharram mourning, mourning ceremonies for Sayyed al-Shuhada (a.s.) (the Master of Martyrs) were held for ten nights at the Seoul Husayniyyah, South Korea, with the speeches of this decade delivered by Hojat al-Islam Maulana Tasdiq Abedi.

These programs continued on the night of Ashura with a mourning gathering on the theme “Karbala; From a Tragedy to a Living Movement,” and on Ashura itself, the special rituals of Ashura, a mourning gathering, and finally a mourning procession were held with the presence of the faithful and devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).
