On the occasion of the arrival of Muharram, a commemoration ceremony mourning the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (a.s.) and his loyal companions was held with the cooperation of Iran’s Cultural Attaché and hosted by our country’s embassy in Belgrade.

At this ceremony, Mohammad Hossein Naeemi, the Cultural Attaché of our country, while explaining the objectives of Imam Husayn’s (a.s.) uprising, referred to the enduring messages of this movement and emphasized concepts such as justice-seeking, combating oppression, preserving human dignity, and reviving religious values.

He further described the Ashura uprising as an inspirational model for freedom and responsibility in the face of injustice.
