During the first ten days of Muharram and concurrent with the mourning for Imam Husayn (a.s.) and his loyal companions, a Husayni mourning ceremony was held with the widespread presence of the devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and a group of religious, cultural, and social figures at the “Habib Trust” educational, cultural, and medical complex located in the Dongri area of Mumbai.

The presence among the Husayni mourners, accompanied by the performance of a eulogist dispatched from the center, gave a special ambiance to the gathering and was met with a warm reception from the devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).

Hojat al-Islam Moazzam Reza Momen, in his remarks, elaborated on the dimensions of the personality of Imam Husayn (a.s.), the philosophy of the Ashura uprising, and the exalted status of the martyrs of Karbala.
