At the Husayni mourning ceremony, Sayyed Mohammad Reza Mortezaei, the Cultural Attaché of our country in Lebanon, elaborated on the epistemological dimensions of the Ashura movement and emphasized the role of insight, devotion to the Vali al-Faqih (leadership), and submission to the truth in the school of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).

Citing a narration from Amir al-Mu’minin Imam Ali (a.s.) about a man who, after receiving a divine punishment (hadd), still remembered him with knowledge and love, he explained the concept of conscious faith and adherence to the truth, and considered this spirit to be among the most important characteristics of the companions of Imam Husayn (a.s.).

The Cultural Attaché of our country also, by visiting the historical city of Baalbek, paid pilgrimage to the noble and luminous shrine of Lady Khawla bint al-Imam al-Husayn (s.a.) and delivered a speech at the Husayni mourning ceremony, which was held with the presence of regional scholars, prominent cultural figures, social activists, and a large number of devotees of the school of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).

He provided a deep and comprehensive explanation of the role of the women of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in safeguarding and preserving the great Ashura movement, and stated, “Had it not been for the Jihad al-Tabyin (clarifying struggle) of Lady Zaynab (s.a.), Karbala would have remained confined to Karbala, and the truth of the uprising of Tharallah (the Avenger of God’s blood) would have been buried under the dust of Umayyad distortion.”

At the mourning ceremony for Sayyed al-Shuhada (a.s.) (the Master of Martyrs) held at the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Cultural Center in Lebanon, organized with the active participation of our country’s Cultural Attaché, a large number of Iranian residents, staff of Iranian institutions, and their families were present.

Mortezaei, in his remarks, addressed the importance of preserving traditional rituals while in a foreign land and described the tent of Imam Husayn (a.s.) as the safest refuge for safeguarding the religious and national authenticity of Iranians abroad.
