🌐 Iraq: 🤝 A professor of mysticism at the Najaf Islamic Seminary speaks about human integration in Arbaeen.

The “10th International Scientific Conference on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage” opened this afternoon, Friday, 23 Safar 1448 AH (August 7, 2026), at the holy shrine of Imam Husayn (a.s.).

Following the speeches of the opening ceremony and prior to the unveiling of the conference proceedings, a scientific panel discussion was held under the title “Arbaeen Pilgrimage; A Platform for Thoughtful Dialogue and Human Integration.”

The session was chaired by Dr. “Hadi al-Saidi” from Iraq, and Hojat al-Islam wal-Muslimin “Seyyed Ahmad Ashkouri” was among the participating experts.

Mr. Ashkouri is a professor of advanced levels at the Najaf Islamic Seminary, teaching not only jurisprudence and principles of jurisprudence but also rational and philosophical sciences, as well as theoretical mysticism.

In this panel, he addressed the human and mystical dimensions of this pilgrimage, as well as the pride and honor expressed by its servants and participants.
