🌐 Iraq: 🙏 Iraqis thank Iran for cleaning the holy shrines.

The presence of millions of Arbaeen pilgrims from various countries around the world at the holy shrines in Iraq (the cities of Najaf, Karbala, Kazimayn, and Samarra) exceeds the capacity and infrastructure of these cities.

Therefore, institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which sends the largest number of foreign pilgrims during the Arbaeen season, come to the aid of Iraqi governmental institutions.

Among these, the municipalities of major Iranian cities—such as Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, and Isfahan—clean the pilgrimage cities by dispatching volunteer forces as well as mechanized waste collection vehicles.

An Iraqi blogger, by posting a video, thanked the Iranians who came with all their resources to clean the pilgrimage cities of Iraq and tidy them up.

The followers of this social media activist also say: “Where are those who want to create division between Iran and Iraq and make them suspicious of one another? These are Iranians, and these waste collection vehicles have Iranian license plates; they have come to clean our cities.”
