A pilgrim who has set out from the southernmost region of Iraq heading to Karbala says in a video:

“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

It is now dawn of the 5th of Safar. We are on the Mashaya (Arbaeen walking path) from Basra to Karbala.

This is the city of Al-Qarnah, which is 100 kilometers outside Basra, and about 300 to 400 kilometers away from Karbala.

The pilgrims of Imam Husayn (a.s.) are walking through the darkness of the night, moving toward Karbala.

I wanted to take a video for the channel members and tell them that we are here remembering you and we are walking in your memory as well.
