🌐 Iraq: 🕌 Deputy of the Ashura International Foundation participated in the 10th Arbaeen Conference at the Shrine of Imam Husayn.

The “Karbala Center for Studies and Research,” the scientific and research arm of the Holy Shrine of Imam Husayn (a.s.), as in previous years, held its international scientific conference after the Arbaeen ceremonies.

This series of Arbaeen conferences seeks to bridge the “humanities” and “applied sciences” and become a global academic reference for the study of mega-events and population management.

The “10th International Scientific Conference on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage” opened on Friday, 23 Safar 1448 AH (August 7, 2026), at the holy shrine of Sayyed al-Shuhada (a.s.) (the Master of Martyrs), and its commissions were held on Friday and Saturday at the Sayyed al-Awsia (a.s.) Complex.

In the 10th session, 290 papers from 212 researchers were accepted, and scholars from 60 countries around the world participated.

Hojat al-Islam “Seyyed Alireza Hosseini (Aref),” the Deputy of the Ashura International Foundation, was also among the invitees to this international conference.

On the sidelines of this conference, he also met and held discussions with a number of guests from various religions and denominations from Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Indonesia, and Iraq.
