An inter-agency coordination meeting regarding this year’s ceremony for those unable to reach Karbala (Jamandegan) in Tehran was held.

In this meeting, the positions and stances of various agencies regarding this massive public event, as well as the obstacles and challenges of last year, were reviewed, and necessary measures for the optimal holding of this program were planned.

Brigadier General Hassanzadeh, the commander of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) Corps of Greater Tehran, stated at this meeting: “Given that this year’s Arbaeen Jamedegan event is in continuation of the historic funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the ummah, this year’s slogan is defined as ‘We Must Rise’ and ‘The clenched fist of the martyred leader’ as the symbol of this ceremony.”

He added: “The Arbaeen walking ceremony for those unable to reach Karbala has been held in Tehran for several years as a family event, and this year, along the route, necessary provisions have been made for the family presence of our dear people.”

According to Brigadier General Hassanzadeh, the walking route for the Jamedegan ceremony in Tehran has been divided into 8 zones, and staff, operational, and security measures will be carried out on a zonal basis.

It is worth noting that in this meeting, all executive, support, and cultural committees presented a report on their preparations for holding the Jamedegan ceremony.
