Official Arbaeen Program Begins Today; Recommendations from the Arbaeen Headquarters to Pilgrims

📌The Central Arbaeen Headquarters, in an announcement, declared the start of the official Arbaeen program from today and offered recommendations to pilgrims for participating in this spiritual ceremony.

1- The Arbaeen pilgrimage journey is considered an international trip; therefore, all dear compatriots are requested to present themselves at the border crossings with a valid international or pilgrimage passport with a minimum validity of 6 months.

2- Authorized and resident foreign nationals (non-Iranians) can depart for Iraq from the Shalamcheh border crossing in Khuzestan Province only with a valid Khadim (service) travel document issued in the current year.

3- Executive programs and the management of processions (mawkibs) will be active along the entire route from July 25. Please fully cooperate with the servants and officials stationed along the route who are present to serve the pilgrims.

4- Bring your personal and essential medications (especially those with chronic illnesses) in sufficient quantity.

5- To prevent excessive fatigue, use appropriate footwear and a standard backpack, and travel light.

6- Dear compatriots, during the travel period, follow the latest news related to the Arbaeen ceremony through official sources (especially IRIB, particularly Arbaeen Radio, and the official channel of the Central Arbaeen Headquarters on domestic messaging platforms at setadarbaeen_ir@).
