Decisive Response of Military Forces to the American Attack on the Path of Pilgrims of Imam Husayn (a.s.)

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced:

“▫️Continuing the punishment of the aggressor and responding to the crimes of the child-killing American army, which this morning, by attacking the path of the pilgrims of Imam Husayn (a.s.), revealed its Yazidi nature more than ever and demonstrated to the world the savage nature and cruelty of American leaders, this morning, the fighters of the IRGC, in the 26th wave of Operation Nasr 2, with the sacred code ‘Ya Aba Abdillah al-Husayn (a.s.)’ and dedicated to the Arbaeen pilgrims, destroyed the American Special Electronic Warfare Unit at the Al-Atayri base through combined attacks, and by striking the barracks of this unit, killed and wounded a number of them.

The flight control tower of this base was also hit and sustained damage, and the punitive operations of our forces are ongoing.

▫️The aggressor American army, which in its aggressions after the official resumption of the war, used cruise missiles launched from its vessels in the Indian Ocean, with the depletion of missile reserves of these vessels, resorted yesterday to using B1 bombers flying from the Fairford airbase in Britain.

As the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have also stated, any base used for aggression against Iranian territory is a legitimate target for us.

We warn the British monarchy regime, which has been the main cause of the misfortunes of the people of our region and has in its record the dark history of partitioning Islamic countries, widespread massacres in these countries, imposing authoritarian governments, and worst of all, organizing and directing the occupation of Palestine and the creation of the calamity of Israel, and has had the most participation in the recent aggressions of America and the Zionist regime against Iran, not to further burden its record.”
