The conference “The Goal of the Karbala Uprising in the View of the Martyred Leader (r.a.)” was held with the widespread participation of scholars, intellectuals, religious figures, and various segments of the people in the city of Jacobabad, Sindh province, Pakistan.

In this ceremony, Hojat al-Islam Maqsood Ali Domki Baloch, a senior member and spokesperson of Pakistan’s Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, in his remarks referring to the prominent role of the Martyred Leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei (r.a.), stated: He revived the message of Ashura and the philosophy of Imam Husayn’s (a.s.) uprising in the present era, and through providing a scholarly, Qur’anic, and revolutionary interpretation of the Karbala movement, he guided not only the Iranian nation but the entire Islamic Ummah toward insight, awareness, and resistance.

He further added: The Martyred Leader, with courage and steadfastness, challenged the Yazidis of the time—namely global arrogance led by America and the Zionist regime of Israel—and was always a defender of the oppressed nations of the world. He showed the Islamic Ummah the path of dignity, independence, freedom, and resistance, and breathed new life into the body of Islamic awakening.

The religious scholar also, referring to the sorrowful atmosphere of the Islamic world following the martyrdom of the Leader of Resistance, stated: Today, our hearts beat at the Musalla of Imam Khomeini (r.a.) in Tehran—where Muslim nations have gathered in the historic funeral procession of this great Islamic figure, the beloved Leader of the Ummah and standard-bearer of resistance.

Continuing the ceremony, Hojat al-Islam Zulfiqar Ali Saidi, a Pakistani cleric, emphasized in his remarks that the event of Karbala is not merely a historical incident, but an eternal criterion for distinguishing truth from falsehood in all eras. And the Martyred Leader, drawing inspiration from the school of Husayn, made Islamic unity and the awakening of the Ummah the focal point of his intellectual and political movement.

Hojat al-Islam Saif Ali Domki, a Pakistani preacher, referring to the lessons of the month of Muharram, stated: Muharram al-Haram teaches us that to preserve religion, we must embody sacrifice, devotion, and steadfastness on the path of truth. The Martyred Leader spent his entire life in the promotion of these very Islamic values.

Hojat al-Islam Ali Nawaz Irfani, a Pakistani cleric, stated in his remarks that the thoughts of the Martyred Leader were rooted in the Holy Quran, the conduct of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.), and the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.). He always called upon the younger generation to acquire knowledge, piety, insight, recognition of enemies, and a sense of responsibility toward the destiny of the Islamic Ummah.

Allah Bakhsh Sajjadi, a Pakistani intellectual, also addressed the youth, stating: The duty of the young generation is to implement the message of Ashura in their individual and social lives and to play an active role in the unity of the Islamic Ummah, the strengthening of the homeland, and the support of the oppressed of the world.

Additionally, Hojat al-Islam Manwar Husayn Solangi, a Pakistani cleric, stated in his remarks that the life of the Martyred Leader was entirely a struggle against oppression, arrogance, and Zionism. Today, it is essential that the thoughts, ideals, and message of this great Islamic figure be conveyed to the people, and that all faithful and revolutionary forces strive unitedly to promote Husayni culture and strengthen the resistance front.

At the conclusion of this conference, the attendees held special prayers for the exaltation of the Martyred Leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei (r.a.), the unity of the Islamic Ummah, and the victory and success of the oppressed people of Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and other oppressed Muslims of the world.
