Concurrent with the days of mourning for Imam Husayn (a.s.), the Shiite Center of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (a.s.) in Canberra, the capital of Australia, hosted mourning gatherings and the Ashura procession.

Various religious ceremonies were held at this center, including religious speeches, congregational prayers, mourning gatherings, and the Ashura procession.

The ceremonies were also held with the presence of the faithful and devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), and participants expressed their devotion to Imam Husayn (a.s.) and his loyal companions through elegy recitation, chest-beating, and recounting the tragedy of Karbala, conveying the message of the movement.
