Ashura International Foundation / Husayni Mourning News:
The Ashura mourning ceremony for Imam Husayn (a.s.) was held at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Budapest, with the participation of a large number of Iranians residing in Hungary, particularly students, youth, and devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).
In this ceremony, participants from various segments of the Iranian community and different nationalities gathered in an atmosphere filled with spirituality and empathy, expressing their heartfelt devotion to the sacred presence of Imam Husayn (a.s.) and his loyal companions through mourning rituals.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Ziyarat Ashura and continued with a speech by an Iranian resident on the philosophy of Imam Husayn’s (a.s.) uprising and an explanation of the ethical, epic, and religious teachings of Ashura.
In another part of the ceremony, the memory of the martyred Leader of the Revolution, the martyred commanders, and the oppressed martyrs of the Minab school was honored. Images of these oppressed martyrs were displayed at the venue, creating a sorrowful atmosphere among the mourners. This painful incident had doubled the grief and tragedy of this year’s mourning.
Subsequently, Morteza Moradian, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Hungary, in his remarks while thanking the passionate presence of the mourners, emphasized that dear Iranians, including Iranians residing in Hungary, have always maintained their unity and solidarity during difficult times and have played a role in defending and supporting their homeland. Appreciating this spirit of responsibility, he stressed the necessity of continuing this unity, empathy, and solidarity in the current circumstances.
The ceremony continued with elegy recitation by the devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.). At the conclusion, the congregational noon and afternoon prayers were performed.
The passionate presence of Husayni mourners in this ceremony once again demonstrated that love for Imam Husayn (a.s.) and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) has always been and will remain the axis of unity, solidarity, and empathy among Iranians and the free people of the world.
