Husayni mourners gathered at the conference hall of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Berlin and honored the memory of Imam Husayn (a.s.) and his loyal companions through elegy recitation, mourning, and veneration of Ashura rituals.

Those present at the ceremony also paid tribute to the exalted status of the martyrs of Karbala and the martyrs of the imposed wars, particularly the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, emphasizing the continuation of the path of dignity, freedom, and resistance.

Hojat al-Islam Dr. Ali Sarlak, the speaker of the ceremony, while explaining the role and position of the family in the school of Ashura, reminded the followers of Imam Husayn (a.s.) of their responsibility in safeguarding the religious, cultural, and social values of this school.

Referring to the position of Iranians residing abroad, he emphasized the necessity of transmitting the enduring messages of the Husayni movement to future generations and introducing the culture of sacrifice, loyalty, and steadfastness against oppression. Prior to this, Muharram mourning programs had been held for four nights at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Berlin, where speakers and religious experts had explained the various dimensions of the Ashura uprising and the eternal messages of the Husayni movement to those present.
