Concurrent with Tasu’a and Ashura, the people of Afghanistan across the country, especially in Kabul, held mourning ceremonies for the Master and Lord of the Martyrs of Karbala, Imam Husayn (a.s.), and his loyal companions.

Thousands of devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and Imam Husayn (a.s.) mourned and grieved in lamentation of his martyrdom and that of his companions.

Taliban forces are in control of the security of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, and other regions of the country.
