Afghanistan’s Supreme Shiite Commission, by holding a meeting in Kabul, expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Islamic Emirate in providing security for the Ashura ceremonies.

This meeting, which was attended by a group of ethnic elders, the Shiite Scholars Council, and officials of the Taliban government, emphasized the preservation of unity and support for the current system.

Noorullah Noori, the acting head of the Ministry of Tribal and Border Affairs of the Taliban government, in his remarks, claimed that Afghanistan has achieved an unprecedented level of security and freedom.

He added that the Afghan people have sacrificed for years to achieve these conditions, and now is the time to consolidate this security.

Members of Afghanistan’s Supreme Shiite Commission, with a positive assessment of the security measures for this year’s Muharram ceremonies, expressed gratitude to the Taliban security institutions.
