\u00abAshura International Foundation\u00bb originated from various scientific, propagational, cultural, and research institutions related to the school of Imam Husayn(a.s.) which are active in the international arena.
\nThis foundation was established in 2014 under the auspicious of a Board of Trustees, consisting of real personalities, and representatives of government bodies, as well as international organizations, and has been active since then.
\nAshura International Foundation is affiliated with \u00abthe AhlulBayt(a.s.) World Assembly\u00bb, and its objectives, strategies, and general policies are determined by the aforementioned Board of Trustees.
\nCurrently, Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt(a.s.) World Assembly, is the CEO of the Foundation.
\nThe following is a brief introduction to the objectives and activities of the Ashura International Foundation.<\/p>\n

\n\uf06c Development of capabilities and advantages that are specific to the Shiite culture,
\n\uf06c Neutralizing media and cultural evil propaganda and activities against AhlulBayt(a.s.) and Ashura culture,
\n\uf06c Protecting and guarding the sanctity of Prophethood, Imamate, and Wilayah,
\n\uf06c Strengthening the foundations and ability of cultural institutions and Islamic missionaries to revive Ashura culture,
\n\uf06c Identifying and benefiting from the capacity of the cultural elites of the target countries,
\n\uf06c Localization of cultural institutions active about Ashura in the target countries,
\n\uf06c Increasing activities and training courses for missionaries, eulogists, and preachers for Imam Husayn(a.s.),
\n\uf06c Strengthening and supporting popular gatherings related to Ashura,
\n\uf06c Active presence in virtual space and the artistic fields,
\n\uf06c Maximizing the use of written, visual, and audio media,
\n\uf06c Purification of Ashura culture from distortions and heresies,
\n\uf06c Special attention to the new generation to promote and develop the culture of freedom, confronting humiliation, and oppression.<\/p>\n
\uf06c Supporting the development of indigenous activities related to Ashura in different countries, especially in the Islamic world, through NGOs,
\n\uf06c Explaining, promoting, and benefiting from the culture of martyrdom to achieve the freedom and rights of all people,
\n\uf06c Identifying, organizing, and directing scientific, historical, and financial resources,
\n\uf06c Establishing new cultural infrastructure and expanding services related to Ashura,
\n\uf06c Formulating and carrying out appropriate work to organize and strengthen Hey\u2019ats [singular: Hey\u2019at. (a place or a group of people) in which people mourn for AhlulBayt (a.s.)], eulogists, and institutions who hold mourning ceremonies in other countries,
\n\uf06c Identifying and responding to the needs of different sections of society (adolescents, youths, women, elites, etc.) regarding Ashura culture,
\n\uf06c Production of artistic products regarding Ashura,
\n\uf06c Creating windows on websites with the topic of \u201cAshura culture and the movement of Imam Husayn(a.s.)\u201d
\n\uf06c Conveying appropriate concepts and topics, through authentic historical texts, hadiths, Maqtal (A detailed description of the story of Imam\u2019s martyrdom), etc.,
\n\uf06c Support and intellectual feeding of missionaries and religious speakers who are sent abroad,
\n\uf06c Organizing the dispatch of artistic groups regarding Ashura culture, such as Ta\u2019zieh groups (Ta\u2019zieh is a play inspired by a historical and religious event, especially the martyrdom of Imam Husayn(a.s.)),
\n\uf06c Investigating and studying people\u2019s reaction to Ashura, its rituals, and Arbaeen Great Walk,
\nCreating websites about Ashura,
\n\uf06c Introducing original and authentic styles, rituals, poems, and methods of mourning, and encouraging poets, and those who write lamentations,
\n\uf06c Strengthening the thoughts, traditions, and beliefs of the followers of other Islamic schools of thought, divine religions, and human schools, related to Imam Husayn(a.s.) and the Ashura Uprising,
\n\uf06c Responding to accusations and doubts, and increasing knowledge, through various capacities, especially virtual space.<\/p>\n
